I was born and raised in High Point, but lived in Greensboro for the last 15 years. This is my 11th year teaching, but my first one at Asheville High.  I'm a proud UNCG Spartan alumni with a passion for reading, writing, psychology, and rhetoric.  When not teaching, I can usually be found at the gym, playing video games on PS, Xbox or Switch, cooking, and hanging out with my 6-year-old pug Pumpkin.

I look forward to working with you this year! This year will certainly start off a little abnormally, but I am certain that we can work together to find solutions and achieve our goals.
